Pros
I've spent my entire career in agriculture and have, all too often, seen farmers left behind. I always said I'd never come back to work for a large company but I really believe in the mission of Indigo. Everything we're doing from our microbial seed treatments, our carbon credit program, and our grain marketplace is aimed at increasing farmer profitability. It is a truly noble mission. When we succeed, we are contributing to the success of family farms here in the United States and abroad. Is this an easy task? No. Nothing worth having comes easy but that mission is what drives me every single day.
Historically, things seem to change quickly here and previous pivots have thrown folks off guard but we're right at the point where we have a clear vision forward. I'm impressed with our new leadership's desire to solicit and action feedback from employees, we're better for it. We're hitting our stride and it truly is an exciting time to join Indigo.
Being a company as young as we are, you really have the opportunity to carve your own path. There is not "the way we've always done it." Get in here, work hard, find your niche, and speak up. You're the captain of your own ship here at Indigo. The opportunity is tremendous.
Benefits are exceptional, the best I've had in my career.
