Pros

It's a very team driven environment. You don't have to worry about being completely alone on a busy day because the store leaders will try to send some of their spare people to help. The team leads and managers for the most part are friendly and transparent. The rest of the coworkers are all friendly, as well. It's easy to get along with people, and the customers aren't so bad either. The populations that come through Ikea are very calm for the most part and don't require too much energy or accommodation.

Cons

Depending on your department, you will receive terrible hours. Not so much in the beginning, but the longer you stay there, they more you'll notice a pattern (close-open-close). It can be difficult trying to move up. There's favoritism among the administration.
