Pros

It used to be a great company, with great resources and talent. and there's still a vast amount of experience and forward thinking within the group. Hopefully IGT can be a great company again.

Cons

There certainly is a huge disconnect between upper management and the employees at IGT. People are leaving in droves due to the poor treatment by the new management. Management that are generally new to the gaming industry and have little if any experience when they come through the doors. There is an overpowering sense of arrogance and ignorance from these people who generally treat the employees with contempt and neglect. Very sad considering it was once a great company to work for.

Pros

Lots of wasteful spending to buy unnecessary equipment that people take home and use for their personal use. IGT has no repercussions for lack of accountability.

Cons

You will be laid-off once the CRDC (China Research and Development Center) is fully functional and up to speed. You will be reprimanded for thinking outside the box with suggestions for improvement and efficiency. You will be expected to NOT question authority.

Pros

By and large the people who work here are great and the company is a good community citizen.

Cons

The company, since the pandemic, has gone back and forth on remote vs in person work policies and has landed on a policy that most employees feel is outdated/not conducive to the most productive work style. Also, anyone who is considering working here, note that if your job is situated in the providence office you have to PAY to park every time you come into the office.
