Pros

- When I joined a few years ago, the company felt exciting and I could truly identify with the brand and the product - On the surface, there is some diversity in the team - A few colleagues try to make the best out of a bad situation

Cons

- Toxic work environment: The company puts employees under extreme pressure with nonsensical KPI requirements, such as recruiters needing to send 1,000 messages regardless of profile relevance or the outcome. - Homophobia, racism, and antisemitism: While the company showcases superficial diversity, there is no genuine inclusion or acceptance beneath the surface (in the TA Team atleast) - Unrealistic high-performance culture: There is no room for being human. Employees are expected to operate at peak performance at all times. Having one or two day moments off in your perfomance often leads to questioning and scrutiny from management. - Lack of psychological safety: Employees are constantly afraid of repercussions, leading to a climate of insecurity. - Lack of transparency: Leadership decisions are lacking of clarity and often incomprehensible. Statements made during the recruitment process frequently turn out to be unreliable. - Lack of clarity: Leadership decisions are poorly communicated and often incomprehensible, making it difficult for employees to trust the direction of the company. - Micromanagement: Leadership likes to monitor every minor task, leaving employees feeling stifled and undervalued. - Anti-employee stance: The creation of a works council has led to open conflicts, further exacerbating the already poor atmosphere. - Childish behavior: The works council and executive team engage in petty power struggles at the expense of the employees. - Broken promises: Particularly in TA leadership, promises are frequently made but later implemented differently, causing frustration and distrust. - Eroded talent pool: Most of the truly skilled professionals have left the company. The remaining talent lacks expertise in their respective fields, which further impacts the quality of work and decision-making. - Office relocations: Our team has been moved several times and during the most recent move, the floor wasn’t ready for nearly a month. There weren’t enough phone booths to support the nature of our work, all because management had simply forgotten to plan properly, despite the "fancy" office. - Stripped benefits: Over time, many perks and return-to-office (RTO) benefits have been steadily removed, yet employees are still expected to maintain excitement about the office. - As bigger HF became, they got less and less effective - Declining employee satisfaction: The company’s happiness score has dropped so badly over the past 2 years, that they now decided to remove at all the Employee Satisfaction Surveys
