Pros

Great box benefit especially now when groceries are getting more expensive Large budgets and work can be interesting given food vertical and general appeal to most of Canada Very analytically oriented and lots of different teams that have been stood up that work well with each other (ex CS and marketing, data analytics and marketing+ops)

Cons

Struggles to find post COVID growth so lot of pressure and change within teams (including layoffs or team restructures) to try and solve for this Lack of growth opportunities with low company growth and shrinking team size. Especially in Canada as low mobility to take on US/NA roles due to issues with US team. No RRSP matching Would say their pay is average despite them advertising that they are "competitive" Canadian leadership team also feels like they have gotten less diverse over time

Pros

I've been working and having a phenomenal time at Hello fresh. Really great: -Autonomous working environment, until they moved in the micromanagers, budget is master and everyone is miserable, shame the business model just isn't working but don't take it out on the workforce. -Great Colleagues and fantastic management support from my peers and line management -Culture shifts and great change culture created a really positive and high performing working environment, then some big changes came in. -The new management team did a great thing and dismissed a bunch of useless workers being managed at every turn, but lack of senior support previously and nepotistic culture created an air of invisibility with this workforce in areas, hope these lot will learn from there stupid actions, however I fear they will not. I guess this was the only good thing the new senior management team did.

Cons

-we were cut for parts and bled to death. -senior team were brought in to cut costs, they pretended they cared and they listened, but they just did what they wanted, we know what's coming next. -Theres a different between leadership management and actual management. -these guys completely missed both, they only know micromanagement. -I'm waiting for them to buy us leashes, because we already have collars.

Pros

Better pay compared to similar roles in the market.

Cons

Has been a rough journey with regular top management changes. I am reporting to my 5th line manager now, since my joining ie 7 months. Maybe because I joined the company at the wrong time. The site is planned to shut down by May 2025. There are a few very unprofessional managers who can make your life miserable. I really don't feel they are fit for the role. They lack quality. The warehouse can be too cold for some.
