Out for Short Term Gains, Conduct Poor Business

Pros

For the amount of experience you have you are given a great deal of responsibility.

Cons

Senior management is too young, confused and does not know how to conduct good business. They have little to no genuine passion for food, and are solely concerned about short term gains. Creating a business that will last for the foreseeable future is the last thing on their mind. The company mindset is driven by making a quick buck.

Good company but definite room for improvment

Pros

-Great social life -You come away with friends for life -70% discount from boxes -Free gym membership -Flat hierarchy system means it is easy to talk to everyone, from management to general CC staff, everyone is approachable.

Cons

-Not a lot of room for progression. They have recently got rid of supervisors, which makes it almost impossible to work towards being a team leader. -Promotions tend to be handed out to those who are friends with management instead of those who actually deserve it. -The salary here is terrible. You are expected to do the work of 2 or 3 people at once on a minimum wage despite the handbook saying you will get yearly salary reviews -Bonuses are unattainable -The focus used to be on giving the customer a great experience but now everything is about SLA's and keeping the statistics up.

Pros

- They throw good parties occasionally - 70% off of boxes

Cons

- They do not care at all about anyone in a customer care related job, even at a management level. So many people leave before a year as a result. - Gradually taking away the perks of the job. In the last year we have had a pay cut and no longer get any paid lunch/ cigarette breaks. - Management have lost focus and they keep trying stupid strategies which make things worse in the long run. Motivation, KPIs and SLAs are suffering as a result. -Very minimal and unprofessionally chosen career advancement opportunities
