Pros

Good training if you are new to recruitment.

Cons

The leaders in this company don’t trust their employees to get on with their work and treat them like children. There were a lot of meetings that added no value other than to check up on what team members were doing. When the WFH mandate went out, I was expected to use my personal laptop and phone for work for over a year. Success doesn’t come down to hard work, it often is luck of the draw depending on what desk you are put on. Different teams have different commission structures for no apparent reason. Salary and compensation was not transparent. Toxic work culture overall.

Pros

Good training. Lots of opportunities for promotion & growth (however this is largely due to high staff turnover). Globally recognised brand.

Cons

I found management to make things very personal (both internally & externally). Really go after competitors with aggression & maliciousness, rather than friendly competition. Turns very cold & nasty when you hand in your notice. Not a lot of accountability for managers. Tell you they want to hear your criticism & what you would change but get very defensive when you actually tell them what you think. Take things very personally & have immature reactions (mostly from management). Temp vs perm consultants is a constant battle. In general salary & benefits isn’t competitive.
