A great company culture with great people. The sales training is amazing, and a wonderful bonding experience with colleagues from around Australia. A year with Hays, and you'll have a lot more professional confidence and general business knowledge.

Cons

A very intense sales environment. If you're shy, probably not the job for you. There are difficult sales targets to hit - 90% of your day will be spent on the phone to people who don't want to speak with you.

Horrible Job.

Nothing really. Thankless job. Early mornings to late afternoon. Nothing but negatives.

Cons

Manager was a horrid person, Complete and utter bully. Place is cliquey. Work with some nasty sales people too. No support from upper managment when raising issues. Newcastle branch was an awful place to work.

I'm sorry that you had such a negative experience - I will pass your feedback on to the Director in charge of Newcastle and the North East for their attention. This doesn't reflect the Hays that I know so I'm hopeful that this is different to how the office environment is today.
