No respect for people. They only care about the money and have no consideration for you. You are a number, and that's all! This is simply horrible!

Lots of celebrations and team lunches

Really toxic culture, micro management, very poor salary compared to the market, very long hours and totally unrealistic KPIs. Management are not promoted to managerial roles based on their suitability to the role, but rather tenure and how much they bill. Until this stops the very high turn over in the Melbourne CBD Office will not change.

Free hays pen when you start

I could only last in the Calgary office for less than a year because of the deplorable management. It was not at all supportive, blame was constantly put on staff. Managers would give you one direction to follow, then the next month completely flip the plan. Hays has some strong brand power but it wasn't built on Calgary's reputation. Unfortunately the Calgary office seems to be the rotten apple. Avoid.
