Pros

Professional training programs provided. Office location is convenient with lots of affordable and tasty foodcourt. System is very good especially the search engine which don't think other competitors will beat the system.

Cons

After new management took over, became more KPI driven and headcount turnover rate is very high. Don't feel be appreciated by the top management. Very realistic company and Top management didn't keep promise for the promotion and reward that promised. Lots of experienced and capable consultants, managers left due to disagreement with the management style. Also lots of fired due to poor performance in short period.

Pros

If they have a spot for you, they'll work hard for you. Once you are employed they go dark, but if you need something they are great at helping you out. Sometimes it takes a while to get to the right person, but you'll always find that person within a day or two. They are better than most staffing companies in this way.

Cons

If they don't have a role for you when you come off a project you are done. There is a lot of turnover with the staffing coordinators so if you lose the person that got you a gig, you are pretty much a one shot and done employee.

Pros

Gave me a foot in the door when other companies wouldn't but nearly put me off the industry as a whole!

Cons

I hated every moment of it, I was bullied, micromanaged and unrealistic targets were put on people. If someone was treated badly my a member of the management team and became upset the office was told they had family issues, which was not true. I thought it was recruitment in general I did not like but since then have had 10 years in recruitment and now hold a senior role in a international recruitment company, so have realised it was the hays culture I did not like. Would not recommend as a place to work. I have kept in touch with many people who worked there at the same time as me and all now still work in recruitment but have bad memories and experiences of their time in Hays. One thing it has taught me is how not to treat my employees or my clients as we were actively encouraged to lie to them. Was given one salary then three months later this was lowered to encourage me to bill more!
