Pros

Competitive Starting Salary within the Industry as well as a strong commission scheme to significantly increase your take home pay. Although this role is very demanding and the hours are long, you are definatley rewarded for the work you put in, including salary increases/ team lunches/ team nights out - all paid for by the company. As well as this, your hard work is always recognised and rewarded. Along with a clear pathway to progression and multiple opportunities to develop your skills, there are always opportunities for you to tranfer nationally or internationally to either progress your career or to suit personal circumstances. The factor that initially prompted me to contact Hays Recruitment was the fact that this company is known in the recruitmnet industry for having the most advanced and market leading training for new starters to support every individual in becomming a Recruitment Consultant. From day one this company has definately delivered and I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the UK to attend traning courses, all expenses paid, proving that this business invest in their employees. Overall, with this company, it is a definate that you get as much back as you put in.

Cons

Working within a recruitmnet business will always include long hours and it isnt an easy role to pick up for some individuals but the hard work pays off and this company will invest as much as they can to support every single employee world wide. The most difficult thing about recruitment is that it is such a competitive industry which doesnt make your day to day role easy however once you start to develop relationships in the local area, things do become easier. These negatives relate to recruitment overall and not Hays Specialist Recruitment as an employer.
