Pros

Great back office team who work hard, your co-workers keep you in the job, not the actual job itself

Cons

Lack of training provided or updates on industry changes. Often hires people based on culture fit more than actual qualifications. Double standards, it all depends on which manager you are friends with at the time

Pros

Good first job to gain experience and have some sort of corporate company on your CV. Pass the 6 months probation and then get out!

Cons

Low salary Toxic work environment Long hours They will tell you there is lots of progression but there really isn't once you have passed probation which is why I advise to get out once you have the experience you need Not many perks at all. If you reach target you may get the opportunity to go on a trip with some of the high achievers who have been in the company years. But aside from that nothing else. Hays prefer silence while working and the only chat should be work so its quite a stuffy environment.

Pros

- You have a job

Cons

- The level of micromanagement is shocking - You're treated like you're at school and are not even allowed to speak to colleagues on desk. I literally got pulled into a meeting room for speaking on desks and other colleagues have said they have too. - If you're a recruitment partner you're very poorly paid. - The role of a recruitment partner at Hays is also extremely boring and there's no variety, would not recommend. - I also heard my manager say discriminatory things on desk, which is very shocking!!
