-Wide variety of work duties -Co-workers are excellent sources of knowledge -Worldwide office locations and opportunities for internal transfers -Salaried position, but with additional overtime as an option during certain times of the year -Diverse culture, LGBTQ+ friendly, monthly informational meetings and interest groups

Cons

-"Take it or leave it" salary offer, absolutely no negotiation -Burnout - understaffed and huge backlog to tackle -Reinsurance is a difficult concept to understand if you aren't familiar with it -You won't ever learn all you need to know about this job in a specific time frame, even seasoned employees meet new issues every few months -Upper management (not direct managers) are completely disconnected from the department and do not understand day-to-day issues of the staff
