Exciting things ahead

Pros

The work we do is very exciting and fulfilling. We know that what we deliver to clients is used to make actionable decisions. The work we do is somewhat seasonal, where we really focus on farmers' needs during our busy season, and then get to reflect and improve our tools during the off season (but those internal development keep us as busy). I joined the company 6 months ago, and I see plenty of growth opportunity. And having a parent company offers a rather stable environment. The future is looking bright!

Cons

A couple of things: - our current office doesn't have the greatest layout. So we have to be intentional about collaboration, and team building. - big push for in-office work vs. allowing remote (that was pre-covid, things have changed since then and the company has well adapted).

Pros

Growers have such an open, accepting, and inspiring culture. For the time being in the company, I got to work with a lot of different people with different interests/expertise. The team really cares about you and expect you to do great things in return. They have amazing benefits for full-time employees.

Cons

I have no Cons working for Growers.

Terrible Company, Toxic Management

Pros

Absolutely no pros to think of

Cons

Overall working for Growers was a very negative experience. The culture of the company is extremely toxic. The leadership is very micromanaging and horrifically inexperienced. Many members of the leadership team have never had another job outside of Growers. You are expected to work nights and weekends with zero overtime pay and no rewards. The leadership feels like a cult. There is absolutely no growth here, the company is not succeeding and neither will you if you work here. A sinking ship.

Hi there. I can tell from your review that you had a negative experience with Growers. We're a small company and every single employee is valuable to us. I'm sorry that you didn't feel valued here. I'm going to be candid and say that I don't think your experience is reflective of what our current employees say it's like to work at Growers. That said, we're constantly looking for ways to improve the experience for our employees and regularly act on their feedback. Person to person, I sincerely hope that you're doing well and are feeling valued in your current role.
