Pros

Good pay, and Incentives. This job was to recruit members for company funding. Spreading the word about environmental issues.

Cons

if you don't recruit 3 members in 5 days you, don't get hired, and if you didn't meet a quota you got fired.

Pros

I have worked for several street fundraising groups, and Greenpeace's was the best by far. The managers keep things light and professional. The people hired are sincere, friendly, and low on drama. Best of all, all the money goes straight to the charity, instead of having a big chunk taken through an intermediary.

Cons

Street fundrasing is rough, being outside in all weather, maintaining fundraising targets, dealing with a disinterested public. The job is good, but not for the timid.
