Pros

Passionate workers and dedicated leadership. Pay is good and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

Need to continue to find ways to diversify staff working and leading its development and program areas. Lack of diversity does not allow the organization to maximize its influence in minority communities across the country representing those impacted most by the organization's noble mission and emphasis.

Pros

Greenpeace offers satisfying work among inspiring colleagues. The atmosphere is collegial, creative, and fun.

Cons

Greenpeace pays it's top level people (and it's quite top-heavy) six-figure salaries. However, those at middle and beginning-career levels are paid far below other area non-profits. As a result, morale is often low, and turnover is shockingly high.

Pros

Good pay after starting. Excellent medical benefits and commissions. Great cause.

Cons

Door to door sales. Quota-based. High turnover. Mandatory, unpaid meeting once a week. Kool-aid mentality.
