Turnover Machine.

-In the grand scheme of things, the pay for management is pretty good considering the type of work involved. -Good benefits -Free membership -Lots of opportunities if your willing to relocate

Cons

As stated in the title, this company is a turnover machine. It has a very high demand, production wise, from all staff within the gym. If your gym is behind the status quo, they expect you to be in the gym. GM's are required to work a minimum of 52 hours per week. Time off more or less doesn't exist. If your on PTO, you can expect to be contacted about anything at any hour. They expect your cell phone to be connected to your hand. This just leads to more stress and faster burnout.

Full time employees have access to top notch benefits, the overall culture and ability to grow with the company.

Cons

Upper management needs improvement in regards to hiring/choosing appropriate candidates. Work-life balance is difficult for salaried employees (ie - phone calls/texts/e-mails at 3 a.m).

I loved the atmosphere for the most part and the members that became regulars. It was nice to be able to interact with so many people on any given day.

Cons

The management was unorganized, inconsistent, and indecisive. There was no advancement and no respect in terms of hard work and dedication.
