Pros

The only reason this is not a 1 star is because of how much I loved my clients. The members were wonderful and I lasted as long as I did because I love training/helping others.

Cons

-Unprofessional -Scammed people -Purposefully messed up pay -Tried to get free labor from trainers marking them as employees, but we only got paid when we completed official sessions. -Poorly managed with a huge turnover rate -Many of my clients didn't even know what they baught -The owner who lives 10 minutes away would stop by once every few months, and not do anything but intimidate the staff. -Machines are broken, padding is torn, equipment is cheap, bars are bent, and after countless complaints Gold's did nothing to resolve these issues. I'd say once every 6 months they might fix 1 small thing. Almost at all times there will be cables that are snapped and just lying on the ground. -No on-boarding system. This goes with the overall lack of unprofessional-ism. If you get hired they don't teach you anything, just kinda throw you out to sink or swim. I did fine with it, but this is a big reason you will see new faces working there every month. -Heads up if you get training there really really look at the details and I recommend trying out trainer first. Many of the trainers have no experience and no guidance from Golds.

Pros

I enjoyed working with the kids and getting to meet some great people there

Cons

The management is awful , Just favoritism . How can you fire someone for calling out sick no warning or anything and I have never been written up and it was over text, I was the most dedicated worker there. Hardly no cleaning supplies and filling cleaning bottles with water. Just nasty!!!! Kids club has a crack going down the wall , and fans haven't been cleaned since they've open and dust everywhere and the place needs to be sprayed for bugs.
