      Pros

      Some people are still nice, home office policy (not in all teams)

      Cons

      - It’s a sinking ship trying to still fake they are doing something successful. - Toxic environment: there is a lack of leadership and toxicity in most of the teams. Many people are in burnout and currently leaving the company - Lack of communication: if you work there be aware that you can be fired from one day to another without notice and specific reasons - The company is not growing nor aiming anymore to “building the n.1 global school” even if they fake it with the media

      Horrible for Developers

      Pros

      Work in the education sector. Was a great place when I joined.

      Cons

      Grown to be all about politics. Management with friendly face but different actions. Huge technical debt due to mis-management (and only growing). Complete lack of technical understanding in all upper management, incl. owners, c-level, VPs and directors (CTO, Architect and Staff Engineers have little influence). Developers are considered executors. Their technical expertise and experience doesn't count and is not valued. Developers are made responsible for targets that can't be reached because of technical debt and mis-management.
