Pros

Work- Life balance, company car. Vacation and holidays are great. Seasoned employees help eachother. Health benefits are ok. Cell and dsl allowance.

Cons

Young kids in management positions that know nothing. The company is headed down a very shaky path and I can see more job losses soon. Stop worrying about timing your reps in stores and let us manage our territories and sell. Walmart Team has taken all the selling opportunities away.

Pros

Minneapolis is a great area to live in.

Cons

Extremely age and experience-oriented. Not a culture that promotes new ideas or creative thinking. Employee engagement and morale definitely come last, often to the detriment of the organization's success. Reward and recognition only go to the higher ranking levels on the project, not to those actually executing. Mid level managers are oppressive and will usually prioritize results over the happiness and cohesion of the team. Not a Millenial friendly company, with the younger generation being saddled with roles that are low visibility and moved frequently without input on their destination. Retention is also a real problem in the younger ranks of the company.

Pros

- Great cross-functional talent, some of the best people I've ever had the pleasure to work with - Great processes and collaboration accross functions, which provides a great opportunity to go through a robust traditional marketing training - Experience is highly valued at other places - Great compensation - Classic brands with tons of consumer love - Awesome headquarter campus

Cons

- Culture has shifted significantly in the last couple of years, with fear of lossing your job dominating senior level decisions and behavior - Strong desire to change to a consumer-first approach from the top of the house, but struggling to commit in the president/director levels given performance pressures and short-term goals - Lack of transparency
