Leadership's commitment to employee health and safety - especially in the Covid era - has been world class. GDIT has a strong commitment to ethical behavior and an inclusive culture, which makes you feel proud to be a part of the team. Internal mobility and technical learning are strongly encouraged.

Cons

As a government contractor, there is always pressure on maintaining competitive rates, which can limit salary potential.

GDIT is a great place to start your IT career. Many opportunities, across the country and globally.

Cons

They have such a low profit margin on their IT contracts that they never have enough money for raises. They call them merit increases. An people are not reviewed on their performance. They do straight percent of 33% top performers, 33% average and 33% needing help. Even if you work on a team were you and all your peers are outstanding, 1/3 of them will be ranked average, and another 1/3 ranked as needing improvement.

This is a place where you can have fun at your job and contribute to important missions. Management has been executing initiatives around technical learning and creating opportunities for internal mobility.
