Everything! Management is the biggest issue. They are so hands off, the staff was running wild. There were some real bullies on the team who threatened physical violence if they were angry with you about something. Usually its over trivial things. Too many people with huge egos. Management did nothing about the intimidation and it created a very toxic work environment. The overall environment was just so absolutely toxic and totally preventable. Promises were constantly made about raises and promotions. All promises were broken. There is no opportunity whatsoever to move up. Management dumps tons of work on you while they go on another vacation. Also it seems like management takes their vacations during the peak times of the season, leaving a small team behind to do massive amounts of work. Management promotes an open door policy however whenever genuine issues are brought up, it goes through one ear and out the other. It quickly became evident that nothing was going to change. You would have better luck talking to a brick wall then the Management team here. Flights are constantly late because of the lack of staff, lazy management, and drivers constantly interfering with packing operations. Drivers would come in, tear apart the carts to eat some food and leave the mess behind. Telling Management didn't help yet they complain that their higher ups are complaining about the late flights and tells everyone to work harder. Gate Gourmet Management is so brain dead and does not take any concerns into consideration. I really cannot express how useless Management here is. I would not recommend anyone to work here.
