Pros
I'd say that the single best reason to work at the Gap is the people. In my store, we had a very professional and competent management team that was very flexible about personal issues, emergency time off or schedule changes on short notice, etc. with employees who demonstrated the same flexibility. My co-workers were a pretty fun bunch of people too; most of them were young college students with a positive attitude and great sense of humor.
Cons
GapCard is/was probably the worst aspect of working at the Gap. So much effort and energy were expended on getting that damn piece of plastic into the hands of EVERY CUSTOMER that sometimes I think that we were more committed to pushing easy, not to mention very-high-interest-rate, credit than we were to selling clothes.
