Efficient computer system, reasonable employer benefits and PTO. Remote work is available.

Cons

Turnover rate is increasing. Unreasonable deadlines and lack of communication. Adjusters and Supervisors are burned out with large volume of work and increasing demands from the carrier. New employees need more support during the onboarding and training process.

Very flexible if you want to have a career and prioritize family/home life. Gallagher is also very open minded about remote work and working from home due to bad weather.

Cons

The benefits are pricey and go up based on salary. Also, they recently changed the 5% company match to matching in gallagher stocks...

Pros

Gallagher Bassett is a great company to work for. They have offered work from home options even prior to the Covid pandemic. They have a state of the art computer system for claims handling and great support in their management department. I have worked in several positions with this company and find that there is a great deal of opportunity for people with the drive to excel. The pay is on par with other companies and good benefit plans with matching 401K. This is my second time around working for Gallagher and cannot think of a better place to be.

Cons

This is a third party administrator so clients have a lot of input. One should have very good people skills for this portion of the job. (This is not really a con, just a fact of this particular business)
