      Love working here, but company is getting too strict with guidelines, making it a more difficult place to do your job

      Pros

      Great people, great benefits. Car, free gas. Flexibility, good pay

      Cons

      not as stable as it used to be. Lots of reorganization/changes/layoffs in recent years. Lack of consistency with senior leadership team-changing the rules in the middle of the game. GSK is so scared of doing anything out of compliance that sales reps are finding it harder and harder to be able to sell. As of 2011, there will no longer be individual goals or sales achievements

      Coworkers are good people to work with. Overall benefits are good. Proactive in promoting wellness and healthy lifestyle choices. Products typically strong clinically.

      Cons

      Direction of company via Senior Management. Lack of input allowed from employees on decisions by Senior Management. Every decision is made from a legal sense and how the company should minimize it's potential exposure to litigation. Consultant driven management.
