Pros

- The people at GLG are incredibly smart, hardworking, caring, and very fun to work with. Especially now, you can see a lot of heart is put into client work and I feel that it’s getting better. - Decent salary and benefits - Time off policy is invaluable - and (from every leader I have had) managers WANT you to utilize the unlimited PTO - (Pre-covid) times the office is beautiful and there is free coffee - Good work rewards (utilizing recognition programs where you can trade in points for a number of fun items/gift cards) - A lot more flexibility when working from home. The client solutions role can be very up and down in how busy you are, and it’s nice to be at home during slow days so you can do housework, exercise, etc.

Cons

- Long and often unpredictable hours - The learning curve is steep at GLG, but once you know the job it can become a little repetitive - It can be hard to set boundaries for after-work hours - it would be nice to know that before accepting the job

Pros

-in office coffee bar -near downtown hotel with great mac & cheese and wine

Cons

-NO WORK LIFE BALANCE. zero. (they will make you work 8am-8pm) -upper management more focused on profitability and meeting quotas than actual substantial, meaningful work -they'll shove the importance of "company culture" down your throat but turnover rate is so high because it is so unnecessarily demanding and in my time, several managers/team leaders were rude, disorganized, and just straight up mean -everything else

Pros

Great office space with all the nice perks (e.g., in-house barista, drinks, standing desks etc). Company is young and there is always an energy in the office. You can feel the impact that your work has for clients. Opportunity to work with great people in a fun culture.

Cons

No work-life balance. It varies from team to team, but for my team working late nights and weekends is common. Senior leadership only cares about profitability. Teams providing different types of services to clients will be reviewed with the same target ROI in mind even when it doesn't make sense and they are providing completely different services to clients. Constant change in the company with re-organizations and restructuring. Account alignments change every year, making everyone's jobs more difficult. Senior leadership doesn't get any feedback from the company in a systematic or organized way. At one point they announced that they would send quarterly surveys to the whole company to get feedback on an ongoing basis. They did it once and stopped. There is no systematic way to provide feedback as an employee unless you share your view with your manager and hope the message gets passed up the chain or you play the office politics game. The execs even tell you they ignore all the reviews on glassdoor cause they believe its just people complaining.
