Pros

will give you a lot of responsibility will give you a lot of exposure and interaction with high level executives-- both from the client and expert side will challenge you, allows for some creativity in the role their management team has turned over in the past 2 years, very much seems to have a good group at the helm now. They try really hard to keep their employees informed, listen to them and making meaningful change. Their handling of COVID-19 was professional and very well done. Made sure their employees were comfortable working from home and had the equipment they needed. Great people work here, you will make a lot of friends Allows for internal mobility to find a role that you think would be better. requires you to over perform in your current role and the ability to make an convincing argument on why you will serve GLG better in the preferred role Allows for management opportunity it a young age

Cons

will over work you, ask a lot of you sometimes feels like they don't compensate you enough for the work pay structure isn't always clear, bonus incentive isn't very motivating can be repetitive-- gotta stay creative and proactive to make sure it doesn't can feel like high school given the average age of the ATX office a lot of change, sometimes feels like change just for the sake of change. I think they are getting better at this, but very much a 'flavor of the week' company when it comes to initiatives still trying to keep moral and satisfaction up, I believe there has been fairly high turnover in the past. It is getting better will give young people management opportunities, this can be very good or very bad-- depends on who your manager ends up being. who your manager is makes a huge impact on your experience. Like the saying goes, "people don't leave companies, they leave managers"-- can be said for GLG

Pros

Excellent Communication from Leadership Team Great Business Model (resilient against COVID-19 impact)

Cons

Clients can sometimes be overly demanding. The work is variable, so there are peaks and troughs which can be tough to handle with non-work commitments.

Pros

GLG is a great place to learn. You will work with intelligent and demanding clients and coworkers. I've learned more about how to success professionally in 1 year than in 6 years at a previous job.

Cons

Clients are extremely demanding and your workload depends on what team you are on. GLG needs to do a better job of moving people around so some people aren't working 55 hours a week and some people 35.
