When one leaves their work gets piled onto your desk until the next one comes in. Managers will state family first, but then will ask you to work weekends and get mad when you say you have a family commitment. Executives stress casual overtime You have to either change jobs within GE or leave company to get a salary you deserve. Staying in same group over time makes you someone who doesn't want to grow throughout GE. Executives can't stay in their position more than a few years. Seems mandatory for them to bounce around.
