Pros

The GE name is great to have on a resume and the project work I did actually impacted the business and is being used, I wasn't doing busy work or the work of a secretary.

Cons

I was not overly busy at work, I repeatedly asked my supervisor for more work, but I definitely had time to contribute more to the organization. I think they were worried about overworking me, but instead I felt under-utilized.

Stable business with great personal growth opportunities. Fair compensation, and a very strong set of company values driven by an excellent senior leadership team.

Cons

GE is a VERY US based company, and everything runs to Eastern Standard Time - this makes work life balance in the UK difficult.
