      Rapid expansion followed by rapid downsizing

      I loved the team and the space which we have to develope the product, project and ourselfs

      Cons

      As a result of the ill-considered strategy, many people were hired and then as part of a group downsizing fired within days. And as I see my former colleagues on social media, it has been going on ever since.

      Cons

      - Company is too engineer oriented and not as Business/Product focused - Unfortunately, some managers lack self awareness and thus find it difficult to empathise with team. Expectations are not communicated clearly which causes confusion and low morale.

      Pros

      Form3 is culture-driven with a People Team who really care - from fighting to protect work-life balance to ensuring remote workers have comfortable workspaces. Many of the extended management team are humble and transparent. They are happy to mentor, catch up over coffee, and generally take an interest in how people on the frontlines feel. The company is growing at an unprecedented pace. Engineers are free to drive their own careers at Form3, from team rotations to fleshing out hackathon projects.

      Cons

      With rapid growth comes growing pains. This is unavoidable, and Form3 is handling it well at present, but it is a constant balancing act which could easily go awry.
