Pros

The only positive thing that I have to say about this place is that I discovered some really cool bands. oh, and I got health insurance.

Cons

In the 9 months I worked there almost all of the original management staff quit, including 2 people walking during busy shifts. We were given unrealistic goals, few hours to give to sales associates, and very little motivation to stay with th company. One of my fellow Asms was a terrible person who went out of her way to make my life miserable. This continued even after she quit and moved on to another store.

Pros

Awesome people to work with! You work with these people all the time so they become your family. Get cute clothes for cheap. Wide array of looks and trends to shop and merchandise for. Room for growth. Company is attempting to become higher fashion/more mature with their marketing. Directives are clear and easy to understand.

Cons

Ridiculous 5-7 overnight shifts for floorset without a full day of rest in between your next day shift. Discount is only 10% (not for extended family either). Inconsistent scheduling. No vacation/sick days. It's a big corporation, so they don't care about the "little people" that make this store run smoothly (e.g. sales associates). You are easily replaceable in the company's eyes (even if you work for corporate). Poor staff straining and management follow through. No accountability. Visual standards are decreasing with time. Target demographic is young teen girls (and their moms) with lots of attitude.

Pros

Cafeteria and networking. Can teach yourself a lot in a small amount of time. People are great but just going with rhythm.

Cons

Management is never on same page. No actual training. Set up for failure from the start. Innovation is frowned upon. Pay is no where near competitive. Growth is low. High turnover and long hours.
