Pros

Working at forever 21 is so simple almost anyone could do it It can be a relax environment with plenty of time to talk to coworkers

Cons

Everyone on the face of the planet should know how horrible the return policy is, but customers constantly fight it. We get it, the policy sucks, but i, myself, and my other cashiers DO inform customers of the policy before they pay so customers are well aware of the policy in detail yet they still flip out. working here really allows you to see how hostile and mean can be to innocent workers. This place also doesnt have hardly any consistency with the management and corporate, "rules" always change By far the most annoying problem of them all, has to be how they allow people to be late, constantly call off or not show up without hardly any reinforcement. It is not fair when some days they want to write everyone up for being 3 minutes late and the next day it's no big deal when an associate doesnt show up overall no consistency and not an enjoyable place to work or take management serious

Pros

You have the opportunity to work with some really great people, and it definitely helps to have them around to share your misery or just to vent...but be careful what you say to whom. It's really difficult to get fired from this job unless you do something REALLY wrong, like steal. Anyways, once you're in, you're pretty much set for as long as you choose (or can stand) to stay here. It's fairly easy to move up in the company if you know the right people, and as long as you do your job and try your best, you'll get noticed, and your dedication will not go unrecognized.

Cons

The customers by far are the worst aspect of this job...seriously, it seems like any class that they may or may not have had in the first place magically disappears once they walk through the door. People do disgusting things like piss or take a s**t in or stick their used pads to the walls in the fitting rooms, blow their noses on clothing, and leave bloody tissues or half-eaten food laying around the store. There is definite blatant favoritism by management, and EVERYONE, including managers, gossips nonstop. If you're not one of the favorites (fortunately for me I am), people are going to go out of their way to make your life miserable for you. Management, at least in my store, is quite incompetent, save for a few managers. It's very frustrating when you have to work under someone who obviously has no idea what the heck they're doing.
