Zero work-life balance for PMs Its unrealistic to expect 24x7 availability. Saying "no" to customers is not always bad.

Allows you to take the responsibility for your job. Flexible working constraints in most areas. Does provide the level of support needed when told to do so. Lots of good skilled people.

Cons

Lack of strategic planning and resource planning. Lack of employee recognition for jobs well done. Advancement opportunities are far and few between. Does not scope customers needs well in the beginning of the relationship.
