Pros

Genuinely enjoyed the work environment ; is very collaborative and most ppl want to see you succeed. Good benefits, very challenging but rewarding and full of growth opportunities.

Cons

Wasn't given thorough time to truly learn the ins and outs of the position- communication is sometimes unclear; seemed as I was expected to everything IMO

LOST ITS WAY - HOSTILE TO FAMILIES

Pros

-Market-average base salary, bonus less so -Strong and broad product suite, growth-hungry but still few career opportunities for ~95% of employees

Cons

-Like many very large companies, bureaucracy makes individual impact nearly impossible so politics, not results, decides career outcome. Constant turnover at the exec level then bleeds down to instability everywhere. I was there ~2 yrs, and ~10% of the VPs in my BU that were there when I started were still there when I left. It's insane - think you'll beat that math? -Think you're a talented? Have a history of corporate success? Me too - doesn't matter. Instability is so constant and politics so important that you're only ~6 months away from a new leader wanting to replace you with an old buddy. Politics are so constant and coworkers so two-faced that friendly day-to-day interactions are hard to come by here. It's just not enjoyable and not worth it. -Expect to lose your job if you take parental leave....I was warned and it happened. It's so unstable and toxic that any weakness can be taken advantage of....and being out for even a few weeks (Fiserv locks you out of all systems during leave) is enough of a weakness. -New CEO pulled back some of the policies that made having a young family truly impossible, but this has been a bad company for a long time. It'll take many years to reverse the toxic culture that Frank developed. It was a 3000 person office and I think I saw one pregnant person in my 2 years. It is truly that bad.

As bad as you've heard

Pros

Cheque always clears, paid time off is available.

Cons

Disengaged management hides in offices and corners, can't be bothered with the little people unless they think you're not billing correctly, barely any training when you start and somehow even less when you get handed new responsibilities. The worst part is Fiserv knows it and just doesn't care.
