Pros

Nice benefits package. Most of the people you work with are very good at their jobs. Fiserv is very fair with the work/personal life balance. There is a healthy dose of challenging projects that make the job enjoyable. Career Opportunities are broad given the large scope of projects going forward.

Cons

Some processes put in place severely hinder the ability to get the job done. Some employees follow these processes to a fault rather than doing the best job for the client. Too many middle managers which add to cost and clog up the developement process. Fiserv 2.0 wants to do too much to quickly. With the Checkfree acquisition resources for the 2.0 initiatives have been badly allocated and stretched very far.

Pros

Can't really think of anything that makes Fiserv a company you would want to work for. It isn't a horrible company, but it certainly isn't a company that makes you think they care about their employees. Seems like there is a large number of senior leadership for a small number of employees.

Cons

Dress code policy needs to be updated -- very few positions are customer facing. Business casual for technical people is unnecessary. Not talking about wearing shorts and flip-flops, just jeans.
