Pros

It's a job that pays more than unemployment benefits with some health insurance

Cons

There has been a precipitous decline in employee satisfaction lately. Fiserv used to be a very good place to be prior to the First Data merger. The cultural clash seems to have worked its way among the rank and file, and changes to policy has negatively impacted morale. JY effectively cashed out and left his people to the slaughter.

Pros

There are no pros post-merger

Cons

FirstData is like a virus. They took over, and drowned out most of Fiserv with it. Benefit cuts, hiring freezes, FirstData people favored over Fiserv when merging roles, managers are "yes men" when they shouldn't.... It's just sad.

Pros

There is no problem I can see now post the merger with first data. The orginal fiserv was a far better company in terms of work culture and management

Cons

Management is full of people who are rarely bothered about good work instead love people running after them They use stupid ways to cover their layoffs. Calling people 5 days a week and 8 hours in office. They monitor every action using sapience Management is least bothered about new work initiatives . On the contrary is full of people pleasing attitude. Zero work life balance . They want you to spend 8 hours in office and then additionally attend calls from home. Zero flexibility in terms of wfh or less office hours. They ask you to apply leaves if you fail to either come to office or spend 8 hours. Politics and favouritism is the most from the higher management.
