Pros

Average compensation trending toward below average since the merger. The teams I work with are sufficiently staffed compared to past companies.

Cons

Terrible First Data culture is taking over Fiserv. The company had a lacking culture to begin with but after the merger it is very bad. No work from home, benefits cut across the board, and absent minded VPs who don't know which way to go. They are currently installing key loggers on everyone's computer to monitor what people are doing. HR also creates reports that shows how many times you swiped your badge. Do you really want to work for this type of company? Frank Bisignano is running the company while Jeff Yabuki buys more houses in Malibu. Fiserv executives need to wake up and put your company back on track. No one seems to know what is going on and thing change weekly. From below it seems there is a rebellion or internal conflict going on at the executive level and right now the bad culture is winning.

Pros

Everyone is vested in each persons success. Lots to learn and leadership encourages staff to be their best. Friendly co workers. Sense of pride in working here. Management seems to understand the fact that it can be a bit overwhelming at times and they do a tremendous job of slowing down the motion to allow the “newbies” time to catch their breath.

Cons

Onboarding takes a while and there is A LOT to learn and that can be a bit overwhelming at times. The term drinking from the fire hose seems to fit well at times. There is quite a bit of up front travel.
