Too much favoritism by management makes for a bad working environment. Managers thrive on employee drama and tends to keep it going. Union committee is paid by company so no help to employees.

The schedule is very flexible to other things you need to do during the day of business hours

There isnt any benefits in this company far as retirement

Pros

Good job if you have children in the school system you drive for. Able to get unemployment in the summer if you chose not to drive. Good job if you don't need it to live on.

Cons

You will make more money if you haul garbage then if you transport children. That tells you how much respect most people have for school bus drivers. Route sheets driver follow to run routes often have many errors. It literally can take years to get some corrected. Many many rules, and they change day by day.
