Firmenich is a very good company but is a very flat organization. You have to come from Geneva to progress quickly.

The environment is very bureaucratic. The influence of the European headquarters is very apparent and so it is hard to make changes. The "not my job" syndrome is very common amoung employees and so not many people willing to go above and beyond. Making change is very difficult.
