Pros

Staff is for the most part great! Company has a great foot hold in the market area. Company has fantastic opportunity to succeed and made a tremendous amount of money in the very near future

Cons

Absolutely no structure, very weak management team. Management team has a vast amount of experience but none of that experience is in management.. No Standards, or operating procedures. Management is incompetent, very political and tremendously over compensated. Question why can the CEO, a priest form Brooklyn have a salary of 87K and other $$ perks for more than 2.1 million annually?

Pros

- Salary and Benefits - New offices in Buffalo/Albany - Short Commute - Hiring more staff to relieve the workload - Fantastic opportunity for someone who has the drive and patience to try and create order out of chaos - People are generally friendly and truly do want to fulfill the mission which is an honorable one

Cons

- Company is taking on more than it can handle - Immature or loosely defined processes for a healthcare company, especially in IT - Many manual processes due to resource limitations to automate - Technology expertise is concentrated within a small circle of staff who have been with the company for a few years, creating dependencies on these staff members. They are over worked and management has not prioritized tasks. - Lack of qualified staff and inability to cross train are creating a huge backlog of work for fixing operational problems and delaying the start of projects - IT systems are unstable and require frequent patching and corrections - Long hours required in order to do a semi decent job, and testing is always cut short - No on site cafeteria, either sneak lunch at the desk or skip it all together when no time to get food - No on site fitness facility

Worst 120 Days I ever Had - Stay Away

Pros

I am not sure what Pros I can think of, maybe free coffee. Over all my experience working in Information technology at Fidelis was by far the worst experience of my career.

Cons

Well, I left a good job after many years of service. I joined Fidelis Care New York thinking this was a great opportunity to be in IT in Health Care industry. What I found was on my first day they had a 120 day acclamation period. At first I figured no big deal, well how wrong I was. I found the management team actually tries to get rid of people and a good percentage are let got for whatever reason, no severance, nothing. I made it until my 120th day, and was walked. I would stay away from this place!
