Pros

You make decent money. That is how they get their talent by prompting you with a big bonus for you to sign a contract with them. Supervisors, Engineers, and everyone alike are treated like they are meaningless when in fact the managers are the ones that are uneducated dictators. They will say they have new management, but they are worst than the previous managers.

Cons

Several Cons: - Work hours are exhausting. Monday through Sunday with 12 hour days. - Management believes in putting fear into people. They mistreat everyone below management level. The hourly are treated in a way that is way out of employment laws, and they are lucky they are not already closed down from a lawsuit. - They will lie to you about the schedule you sign up for and the opportunities available. You must be French in order to advance. - It is a simple manufacturing process made difficult. If you are experienced you can fix your area, but unfortunately management will resist improvement if it is not their idea. Therefore you never get better in your process. Then management is angry because the process is terrible, yet it is managements fault. - Turn over is extremely high due to mistreatment of employees. - If you are great at Lean you will be extremely frustrated here. They do not use or believe in lean concepts.

Pros

Great people, great coworkers. Lots of interesting times to be had with the cultural mixture here. I had an excellent manager. Excellent job security akin to the French model.

Cons

Compensation is barely average and benefits are expensive. Your French colleagues will disappear for most of July and August, but don't expect to receive much vacation time upon hire. The aforementioned cultural mixture often leads to gaps in communication and expectations. Managers and teams are spread out across continents, so the organization is frequently run as two dozen competing fiefdoms. The company has been having some profit-margin issues as of late, and it is wedded to Peugeot, which has been in even more dire straits for a number of years now.
