Best Part Time Job!

Pros

My brother and I own a pool business. In the winter we make nothing. Our Dad sold insurance, so we decided to give it a go. He steered us towards Family First Life. It's a great part-time seasonal job. If you work hard you will make money, but it is a great seasonal job too, just like the pool business. I really like working outside poolside, but if I eventually chose to give up the pool business, then I will 100% join Family First Life full-time.

Cons

No cons for me. I actually like working in the winter now!

Pros

"Believe it or not, I got my start in sales selling cosmetics. That proved not to be too lucrative but I liked working with people. My friend's husband told me to look into insurance sales with Family First Life. At first, I balked because insurance seemed so something my parent's friends would do. I called and got my licensing. The people at Family First Life have been with me since day one helping me make my goals. A year in and it's going great. I love helping families and I make much more than I did selling cosmetics. The best part is I am my own boss."

Cons

This job is not easy but you can make money if you work hard and remain consistent.

Pros

My family has all been in insurance as an agent at one time or another. I avoided the "family business" for YEARS. I lost my job and decided to give insurance a try. My uncle had partnered recently with Family First Life and he really likes working with them. I decided to join him and I am glad I did. The comp is outstanding as is the training. It's nice to make my own hours as my girlfriend does not have a steady schedule so I work the days she works so we can have fun when she is off. I regularly listen to the trainings as I drive to appointments so I don't waste that time in the car. Well,I guess I got sucked into the family business after all.

Cons

I am not the biggest fan of being an independent contractor but I am getting used to it.
