Pros

Management is there if you need to talk w/them. Nice people. The team I worked on provided excellent teamwork. They were the best. I learned soooo much.

Cons

I think the immediate supervisor's are left in the dark as what to expect next. I was the only contractor there. I never knew what was going on in the company. The worse communication between everyone. I loved the job until my supervisor left 2 months after I got there. I was actually yelled out. I was told I couldn't go to the doctor so I had to call in sick to go see her. They knew I wanted to stay on and hired new people before me. Very disappointed.

Pros

Since the company really doesn't care about your growth as an employee, its easy to get complacent and fly under the radar while collecting a paycheck

Cons

Limited growth opportunity. The business as a whole is constantly under buyout rumors. Management is completely disconnected with reality and there is little concern for the growth of employees.

Pros

Throughout my time at FIS, I have always had knowledgeable, hard-working colleagues. My direct managers (of which I've had several) have been a mix of incompetent and capable, but for the most part have been very good managers. In my experience the company has been fairly flexible regarding working from home and granting time off.

Cons

There is little to no room for advancement within the company, unless you like to take on more responsibility without any significant pay increase. It is very political and promotions seem to be granted based on how well an employee plays politics rather than according to ability. It is extremely difficult to get a raise above 3%. Upper management seems extremely out of touch with what actually motivates employees. The company is highly bureaucratic. Communication from management and between departments could be better.
