Pros

Work-life balances are there but do check the cons section.

Cons

Managers are there who doesn't even care about you, about your efforts. They have the mentality that anyone can do the coding job and instead of you giving the good hike they will hire from outside who will be offered twice package as you were on. Now at this particular point, you will feel insecure and you will go and talk to the manager but with no effort. And when you will start preparing for the interviews you will come to know that a lot has changed in the IT industry and you will curse yourself why you wasted this much time serving the organization where you have: 1. No learning. 2. No career growth. 3. No salary hike. 4. No on-site opportunity. 5. No recognition of your work. That's why only join this organization if you don't want to grow yourself in IT.

Pros

Ability to work remotely, but doesn't balance out the rest

Cons

-Health Insurance is horrible -PTO is not competitive -Salaries are not competitive --Paid out 400 million dollars in dividends to stockholders the past fiscal year, but then cried poverty (Revenues were flat!) and said employees needed to bear the burden and not get promotions/raises---not even a cost of living increase If this is the model for how multibillion dollar corporations treat their employees, do yourself a favor and go work for a small/medium size firm where you are actually valued.

Pros

Being lazy is a positive, accountability for your actions don’t count if you know the right people, very scattered work environment mistakes are not generally noticed and don’t tend to get you fired the higher up your position is.

Cons

Management, work life balance, minimal to no training, unattainable work loads, only measures work if they don’t ‘like’ you, wants you to be a human computer
