Pros

Finding pro's is a challenge in the current climate.

Cons

Removal of bonus structure for circa 90% of the UK employee base (Apparently to have one aligned bonus structure across FIS. I have serious doubts that our colleagues in Capital Markets are affected by this change). Eligibility criteria for bonus structure is un-obtainable for most - Minumum 3 direct reports or a Seniority Level of SVP to qualify. US centric based decisions that do not work across all geographical locations or business markets. Overwhelming feeling that COVID is being used as an excuse to remove employee benefits permanently. Gary Norcross' favourite saying, “I hope this isn’t the last job you ever have, but I hope this is the last company you ever work at.” I'm sorry to tell you Gary that the outlook of the quote is not looking great for UK employees.

Pros

Nothing except a good cafeteria and food coupons.

Cons

They expect each and everyone to work atleast 10 hours daily. Managers are there to make you finish 1 week work in 1 or 2 days by bullying you. Forget about leaves and there no such thing exist in FIS. They expect you to work from the death bed. No employee empathy. Managers flirting with girls is norm and girls without any merit or knowledge are leading the team in return to their due favor to managers. Male members of team are doing 2-3 people work as girls are being paid for fitting with managers. Obviously do not expect work life balance if you are working at gurgaon. Even if you resign they will tormant you by not paying F & F for several month. Join only if you are ready to be a bondage laborer without expecting work life balance or leaves. Extreme level of micromanagement, you find yourself reporting your daily work to several people and providing every minute work detail. Needless to say it will extend your workday by 2 hrs. They have every tool possible to oversee your every activity on system. Management is never satisfied the more you work the more you are inundated with extra work and responsibility that meant to be done by managers. Apart from your own work you will be doing manager,s work. P.S.: Most of good reviews here are paid reviews to improve rating.

Thank you for your candid feedback and glad to know that you appreciate the cafeteria and food coupons facilities at FIS. Regarding the concerns you mentioned in cons, we wanted to share that conduct that could be considered “bullying” will not be tolerated by FIS. We remain dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive working environment for all colleagues and encourage an Open-Door Policy. Also, at FIS, we expect everyone who works for and with FIS to act in accordance with our ethics guidelines and respect colleagues, clients, and vendors alike, and report any allegations of violations to the FIS Ethics team(https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/20341/index.html). Pros

If you have the drive, you can learn a lot and move up quickly. Just don’t expect a decent raise as you climb that ladder since you will only get 5% for movements and 2% (if lucky) for annual salaries.

Cons

70 hour work weeks Culture of fear and blame Regular lay offs (usually around the same time as employee appreciation week) Hiring folks from outside who make more than those who have proven the job (sometimes hiring men making double what women make... like Lily Ledbetter was never put in place!) Crazy phone calls in the middle of the night and on weekends Zero back up plan before walking people out Lack of POC in positions of authority No training Fighting amongst groups
