Cons

Management is highly interested in their own career advancement Large government organization has a lot of logistical inertia. Not much challenging engineering work, most design work is contracted out.

Positive work environment. Good pay. Have to move around and apply for other jobs you want to increase your pay.

Cons

Subject to the laws of Congress. There are people there that are only there to collect the paycheck.
