      -Demoralising work environment -Unpleasant blame culture -Much of the work should have been done by admin staff -Very little / no focus on long term investment in interns

      Pros

      ExxonMobil was a great company to work for. They afforded me my challenges during my 15 years with them in both domestic and international upstream operations.

      Cons

      Forced out due to oil and gas prices and there internal ranking system. The ranking system does not work.

      Subsidised lunches and nice corporate office.

      Cons

      If you're white, male and American you will do well in Exxon provided you're popular and an efficient brown noser. Ok salary, very flat organisation, process orientated environment. Not a dynamic environment at all. No bonuses, flawed ranking system. Company doesn't encourage innovation or thinking out side the box. You are an Exxon robot. Do not join as a graduate. Promises made but never kept. Lack of company growth in the UK means lack of job opportunities, therefore very little career development.
