Pros

Average pay, good resume add

Cons

Actively shipping jobs to India. Decreasing pay / benefits for USA engineers as HQ forces organization to shift employees. NOT A HEALTHY PLACE TO WORK FOR US ENGINEERS. If you're considering joining, just do so short term, as Exxon is using you as a bridge until their overseas offices are filled.

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Great opportunities if you are willing to let the company dictate your path forward. Great exit opportunities.

Cons

Work culture involves them expecting you to be essentially like a pawn on the world game board - they expect you to move anywhere they ask you to with no resistance. Doesn't sound that bad until you realize all their locations are in less than desirable cities.
