Pros

Good benefits...some of the days are decent with getting the help I need...working for eurest puts a good medal in your resume

Cons

Manipulation and drama are encouraged in order to "motivate" workers...pays not worth the workload...to many people call out or take vacations....the jobs sustanable with a full crew but 80% of the time there is one or two people out( Probably from being over worked)...Sold close to a hundred breakfast sandwiches a day alongside 40-50 omlettes...it's too much for one person to sustain over a long period of time and the menus huge with having options that are rarely ordered but stressful when they are_ get rid of them)...I get the help I need when everyone was present but that was rare..want home way to tired some days just from pulling off the impossible...would do 85 sandwiches, 40 omlettes(62 orders) while prepping for lunch, with maybe an hour of lazy help...my blood pressure was threw the roof. Its so bad for someone to maintain that level of energy throughout the whole day..luckily I found a new job quick and only had to endure it for a couple months

Pros

The people you work with in support staff are great people to work with, generally speaking.

Cons

The managers beyond the Executive chef level are corporate suck ups, for lack of a better description. They rarely promote from within and talk a good game from interview on, to make you 'think' there are advancement opportunities, but in general, they would prefer to keep you at the level you're at if you're making the customers happy, so that they do not have to change a formula within an account.

Pros

Decent pay. Good benefits. Reasonable work-week hours. Excellent management development program. Rarely had to work weekends. The job allowed for lots of creativity in the areas of menu and recipe production. Plenty of opportunity for advancement, and or, relocation.

Cons

Very early start times. (before 6:00 am!) Not good if you are a night person. Ingrained, set-in-their ways staff, that at times were very difficult to deal with. Upper management decided to eliminate the Sous chef position. I was told that I would be required, indefinitely, to perform the duties of that position in addition to my own. This move essentially doubled my workload for the same rate of pay.
