      Pros

      Pay is above average for entry level positions. Employees are very respectful and general atmosphere is nice. Cafeteria is a little pricey, but food was good. Company is the leader in optical lens market for a lot of reasons, very thorough in market saturation.

      It's a corporate world. Decisions made behind closed doors and HR always backs manager vs employee.

      Pros

      Growth company that flies under the radar. Leader in the eye health industry. Is trying hard to become relative in the local communities.

      Cons

      Human Resource Group is weak and lacks leadership. Not diverse or inclusive. Needs to accept that Essilor's management team(s) at all levels does NOT look like a great diverse American employee company. To be the largest in the industry in America an not have any Hispanics or African Americans on the executive committee is WRONG. The Executive Committee is not representative of the population it serves. There are NO policies or initiatives in place to changes this.
